Position Overview: The Senior Specialist in Identity and Access Management Security Controls plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and security of our systems at Bank of America. This position requires a profound understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and a strong technical background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and refine enterprise-wide information security policies, procedures, and standards concerning Service Account Governance.
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business units, technology teams, and compliance entities.
- Evaluate current IT systems and processes to pinpoint vulnerabilities and implement enhancements that align with enterprise standards.
- Communicate data-driven insights effectively to stakeholders, ensuring the adoption of solutions that mitigate risks.
- Establish a prioritized backlog of Service Account Governance initiatives aimed at reducing risks and enhancing compliance.
- Engage with senior management to provide transparent reporting on Service Account risks.
Required Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of practical IAM experience in a large organization.
- Familiarity with IAM solutions such as BeyondTrust, CyberArk, and others.
- Understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines in the financial services sector.
- Possession of CISSP certification is preferred.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with various operating systems and cloud identity management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
This role is integral to maintaining the security posture of Bank of America, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
