About the Role

FusionAuth is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to drive new business sales and lead the sales process from start to finish. As a key member of our sales team, you will work closely with marketing and community outreach programs to generate warm prospects and build your pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Sell FusionAuth's customer identity and access management solutions to developers, engineering, and technical executives in mid-market accounts.
  • Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of FusionAuth's product and industry trends to effectively communicate the value proposition to technical and business audiences.
  • Lead Management: Schedule and manage the sales process based on inbound warm leads from marketing campaigns and outbound prospecting.
  • Lead Generation: Generate additional leads through targeted outbound prospecting activities.
  • Order Negotiation and Closure: Negotiate and close orders based on prescribed guidelines.
  • Forecasting and CRM Management: Document and manage business within our CRM system while providing accurate forecasts to the team.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the FusionAuth community in online forums and build a strong value proposition for our solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with marketing and engineering teams to build sales campaigns that target developers.
Requirements
  • Technical Sales Experience: At least two years of technical sales experience, preferably selling to developers.
  • Product Knowledge: Technical product experience, preferably targeting developers.
  • Problem-Solving and Learning: A love of learning and problem-solving.
  • Proven Success: Proven success as a sales representative, with demonstrable quota attainment.
  • Technology Sales Experience: Technology sales experience, preferably B2B software or SaaS.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Energy and Motivation: High level of energy, motivation, initiative, commitment, and professionalism.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary Range: $140k-$200k expected OTE range (uncapped with accelerators).
