ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

YOUR ROLE INCLUDES:

  • Oversee all manufacturing operations to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Formulate, strategize, and oversee daily manufacturing performance in alignment with company objectives, and devise immediate corrective action plans for problem resolution and ongoing enhancement.
  • Prepare the annual operational budget and achieve year-over-year improvements in quality, delivery, and cost (material, labor, overhead).
  • Manage the safety program of the facility to ensure continuous improvements in incident rates and full compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Ensure that quality standards meet both internal and external benchmarks.
  • Optimize working capital while achieving timely delivery targets.
  • Facilitate and support Product Improvement Teams to meet initial quality, warranty, and cost reduction objectives.
  • Employ lean, six sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies to drive ongoing enhancements.
  • Lead initiatives to address evolving market demands and expectations for order fulfillment while systematically reducing lead times.
  • Inspire and develop team members to maximize their performance and personal and professional growth.
  • Ensure adherence to company standard practices and procedures across all related functions.
  • Provide monthly forecasts and reports on all manufacturing operations and associated financial metrics.
  • Engage in the broader company Leadership Team alongside fellow Directors and Senior Leadership Team, consulting and communicating on market strategy and cross-functional organizational matters.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Proven success in managing large teams towards sustained improvement.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Extensive experience working collaboratively across functions.
  • Strong MRP/ERP experience, with Oracle being preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to motivate staff by example.
  • Ability to make informed decisions based on available information.
QUALIFICATIONS:

ABOUT YOU:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline is required; MBA is preferred.
  • Over ten years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility.
  • Experience in sheet metal production and assembly is preferred.
