Job Overview
Under direct supervision, a Part-Time Teller I is expected to exhibit behaviors essential for delivering outstanding member service by processing transactions according to member requests and cultivating member relationships by suggesting beneficial products. A Part-Time Teller I should actively contribute to branch success, including sales achievements, accountability, attention to detail, stress management, problem-solving, effective communication, teamwork, and initiative.

Please note, this position requires working 5 hours, 4 days a week from 10am-3pm or 11am-4pm (based on business needs), and every Saturday from 9:30am-2:30pm. This schedule includes one full day off during the week.
Key Responsibilities
Member Engagement:
Welcome members Maintain the branch's professional appearance Clarify basic products and services Identify members' product needs Address member inquiries Resolve member concernsAccount Management:
Navigate various computer systems Update address, phone number, and email changes Process check re-orders Set up direct deposits Assist with online and mobile banking inquiriesCompliance Responsibilities:
Perform additional duties as assigned. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Complete mandatory regulatory training as required. Ensure strict compliance with all laws, regulations, and internal controls relevant to your role, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, and Fair Lending regulations.Transaction Processing:
Execute transactions, including mail deposits, night drop, and cash advances Provide access to safe deposit boxes Scan transit and on-us checks Verify and process member checks Communicate check holds Print necessary documents, including statements, temporary checks, and direct deposit formsRequired Skills and Abilities

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED At least six (6) months of Teller or cash handling experience At least six (6) months of customer service experience A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance may substitute for experience At least six (6) months of experience in a team settingPreferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish Bachelor's Degree Experience in a Credit Union General knowledge of financial industry regulations Military experienceImportant Information Before Applying
Work Hours
Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 2pm.
