Radiation Oncology Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring patient responses, and collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing evidence-based interventions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of empathy, respect, and open communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in radiation oncology nursing.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Current Washington Registered Nurse License - if practicing within this state.
- 1 year Nursing experience.
