About Compass Oncology:
As the largest privately owned cancer care organization in the Pacific Northwest, we provide a comprehensive range of treatment options and services. Our West Cancer Center is equipped to deliver specialized Radiation Oncology (RadOnc) services. We are currently seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our esteemed RadOnc team. This role is crucial in delivering radiation treatments to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

Employment Details:
Type: Full-Time, 40 Hours M-F
Location: Rose Quarter Cancer Center

Compensation:
Salary Range: $43.04-$62.22 Per Hour
Final offer amounts are determined based on the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications, along with internal equity considerations.

Job Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of a radiation oncologist, the Radiation Therapist will:

  • Administer and document radiation therapy treatments with precision.
  • Maintain accurate patient treatment records in the electronic medical system.
  • Participate in the training of new therapists and students.
  • Assist in managing patient appointment schedules and ensure accurate billing.
  • Prepare custom molds and cut blocks as required.
  • Perform basic calculations related to treatment.
  • Interpret computerized treatment plans accurately.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • ARRT certification is mandatory.
  • Valid state license for radiation therapy is required.
  • Current CPR certification is necessary.

Experience:
A minimum of three years of active practice as a Radiation Therapist is required.
