About Compass Oncology:
The largest privately owned cancer care organization in the Pacific Northwest, Compass Oncology provides a comprehensive range of treatments and services. Our West Cancer Center is equipped to offer specialized Radiation Oncology (RadOnc) services. We are currently seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our esteemed RadOnc team. This role is essential in assisting with the delivery of radiation treatments, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 Hours M-F
Location: Not specified

Compensation: $43.04-$62.22 Per Hour
Final salary offers will be based on a thorough evaluation of the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications, alongside internal equity considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately under the supervision of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
  • Maintain precise records of patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record system.
  • Engage in the clinical training of newly hired therapists and students.
  • Assist in managing patient appointment schedules and ensure accurate billing information is submitted.
  • Prepare custom molds and cut blocks as required.
  • Perform simple mu calculations and interpret computerized treatment plans.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • ARRT certification is mandatory.
  • A valid state license for radiation therapy is required.
  • Current CPR certification is necessary.

Experience: A minimum of three years of active practice as a Radiation Therapy Technologist is preferred.
