We are currently seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our esteemed Radiation Oncology team at the West Cancer Center.

The Radiation Therapist plays a vital role in the RadOnc care team, responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, creating custom molds, and supporting Radiation Oncologists in patient treatment.



Employment Type:
Full-Time, 40 Hours M-F

Compensation:
Salary Range: $43.04-$62.22 Per Hour. Final compensation will be based on the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.

Job Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, the Radiation Therapist will:
  • Administer and document radiation therapy treatments in accordance with the directives of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
  • Accurately input and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in the clinical training of new therapists and students.
  • Assist in managing patient appointment schedules and ensure accurate billing information is submitted.
  • Perform tasks such as cutting blocks and creating custom molds as required.
  • Conduct simple mu calculations and interpret computerized treatment plans.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.


Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program. ARRT certification is mandatory. A valid state license for radiation therapy is required, along with current CPR certification.

Experience:
A minimum of three years of active practice as a Radiation Therapy Technologist is required.
