B2B Sales Consultant Responsibilities
The B2B Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in empowering our clients to achieve their business goals by providing innovative content management, document automation, and information security solutions. These solutions are designed to streamline workflows, boost productivity, and protect sensitive data. As a trusted advisor, you will utilize the latest advancements in business technology to deliver secure, personalized experiences that drive growth and maximize return on investment for our clients.
Compensation Overview
$30,000 - $42,000 base salary + Commissions (1st Year Average: $65k - $75k; 2nd Year Average: $80k+)

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Analyze customer data and market trends to formulate strategies to enhance sales
- Monitor and report on sales performance
- Present and promote products/services to potential customers
- Negotiate contracts and close sales
- Develop sales strategies tailored to customer needs
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Stay informed about product/service offerings
- Attend industry events to keep up with market trends
Desired Qualifications
- Proven track record in B2B sales
- Ability to generate and close new business
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Technical aptitude with a quick learning curve for new products and services
- Self-driven with a robust work ethic
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
- Proficient in computer systems and CRM/ERP software
- Familiarity with B2B sales techniques
- Capacity to build and maintain a professional network
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business preferred
Training and Development
Comprehensive orientation and product training will be provided by Century Business Products at the start of employment. This training will include in-house sessions, webinars, and off-site third-party training. Continuous professional development opportunities (in-house, webinars, and relevant off-site training/technology conferences) will also be available. Century Business Products encourages Account Managers to engage in self-directed learning through reading, research, and other relevant media.
Performance Evaluation
Employee performance will be reviewed periodically, with an annual review to discuss past performance and future planning strategies.
