  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in a comparable role within a complex industrial environment, ideally focusing on large-scale energy projects.
  • Proficient in engineering, procurement, and construction contracts, particularly within the renewable energy sector.

  • Demonstrated boldness, pragmatism, and a high degree of autonomy to effectively integrate into the existing team and meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in technical and industrial matters.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, high-pressure business environment and address a variety of challenges.
Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Drafting and Negotiation for Energy Storage Solutions:

Involves the creation and negotiation of contracts for energy storage projects:
  • Regular updates to the company's contract templates for energy storage solutions;
  • Customization of contract templates to meet specific project requirements;
  • Reviewing tender documents and modifying sales contracts and agreements to align with project needs, addressing issues such as economic sanctions, export controls, competition law, compliance, and insurance, in collaboration with expert teams;
  • Establishing procurement contracts through framework agreements with key equipment suppliers.
Main types of project contracts include:
  • Sales contracts for equipment supply and commissioning;
  • Engineering, procurement, and construction agreements;
  • Service agreements;
  • Consortium and joint venture agreements;
  • Procurement contracts for modules and cells;
  • Subcontracting agreements.
Project contract negotiations involve:
  • Reviewing tender documentation, including clarifications related to main contracts, product warranties, and insurance conditions;
  • Negotiating contracts for energy storage projects, including sales, procurement, and subcontracting.
Mergers & Acquisitions:
  • Assist teams in reviewing Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs) and related contracts during mergers and acquisitions within the energy storage division;
  • Act as the liaison for external legal counsel during SPA reviews and negotiations.
2. Support During Implementation Phase of Energy Storage Projects:

The legal counsel will assist operational teams during the implementation phase of energy storage projects:
  • Contract claims: assess the company's contractual position and strategy, aiding in the review of draft letters and ensuring compliance with contract terms;
  • Pre-litigation and litigation matters: oversee pre-litigation and litigation files in collaboration with operational teams and serve as the primary contact for external legal counsel and insurance issues.
3. Monitoring Contractual Risks:
  • Continuous assessment of legal and regulatory risks.
4. Internal Training and Tool Development:
  • Contribute to training initiatives for operational teams and the creation of relevant tools.
5. Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to internal company regulations.
