Opportunity Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Inspector to become an integral part of our expanding pharmaceutical organization. This role focuses on ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and verify that product quality is upheld during all manufacturing stages, adhering to established specifications.
  • Conduct in-process evaluations (e.g., weight, thickness, hardness, disintegration, friability) according to manufacturing batch record guidelines.
  • Perform thorough inspections of rooms and equipment prior to each manufacturing phase, following detailed procedural documentation.
  • Prepare samples of in-process and finished products for the Quality Control laboratory, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
  • Maintain standard weights and execute daily balance verifications.
  • Monitor environmental conditions of the facility and products to ensure compliance.
  • Review engineering documentation, including temperature and humidity calibration, pest control records, and contractor activities.
  • Execute AQL sampling and inspections as necessary.
  • Ensure proper segregation of rejected materials generated during production and maintain accountability in batch records.
  • Review online batch records for completeness of signatures, entries, and actual reconciliation/yields before proceeding to the next processing step.
  • Verify the functionality of all equipment and associated controls during production runs.
  • Conduct relevant testing and compile reports for customer complaints.
  • Identify and report any non-conformances or discrepancies to management as required.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector or quality assurance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with good manufacturing practices (GMP) and good documentation practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-driven individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (Word and Excel).
  • Good foundational math skills and exceptional attention to detail.
