Job Overview

As a Construction Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction activities to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform on-site evaluations during construction phases to verify compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.

· Assess the quality of materials and workmanship utilized on-site.

· Detect and document any discrepancies from approved designs, specifications, or codes, and recommend necessary corrective measures.

· Compile comprehensive inspection reports detailing findings, suggestions, and required adjustments.

· Offer technical support and advice to contractors and project teams to maintain compliance with established standards.

· Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address construction-related challenges and ensure successful project outcomes.

· Stay informed about the latest building codes, regulations, and best practices within the industry.

Qualifications

· Demonstrated experience as a Construction Inspector or in a related position.

· In-depth knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and construction techniques.

· Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and variances from plans.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and construction documentation.

· Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and equipment.

· Physically fit and capable of working in diverse weather conditions.

· Certification as a Construction Inspector is advantageous.
