Job Summary

UCP of Long Island seeks a highly skilled Quality Management Specialist to facilitate the organization's Quality Management of State, Local and Federal regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations for all programs by interviewing staff, reviewing documentation, and completing investigation reports.
  • Input required information into statewide databases within the required timeframe and ensure documentation of recommendations is received and closing investigations in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OPWDD regulations, as well as other Federal and State regulatory standards and policies.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, and document information to support audit/documentation review findings for both internal and external audits.
  • Participate in Agency's Incident Review, Human Rights, and Research Project Proposal Committees.
  • Requirements:
    • OPWDD experience is required.
    • A clean and valid NYS Driver's License is necessary.
    • A flexible schedule is offered.
