Job Summary

Nixon Peabody is seeking a highly skilled Local Resource Specialist to provide administrative support to our office and timekeepers. This role involves performing complex administrative duties, maintaining professional contacts, and observing confidentiality of client and firm matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite administrative support to meet the needs of the office and timekeepers.
  • Perform a variety of complex administrative duties, including coordinating input and revision of correspondence, documents, and forms.
  • Monitor and complete incoming work requests in a timely manner, redirecting to appropriate resources as needed.
  • Coordinate the distribution and mailing of court, deed, and other paper filings.
  • Process check requests, expense reimbursements, and vendor invoices as needed.
  • Participate in firm training and mentor new staff members.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Associate's Degree preferred, or work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office technology applications.
