About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Bilingual Resource and Housing Specialist to join our team at Compass Family Services. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with families in our shelter to help them resolve their housing crisis and achieve stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess families' needs and develop individualized service plans to address housing and resource barriers
  • Provide case management services, including counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to community resources
  • Work with families to identify and secure stable housing, including Rapid Rehousing and Permanent Supportive Housing
  • Collaborate with other Compass programs and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive support system for families
  • Document all interactions and progress in our case management system
Requirements
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Relevant experience in social services, housing, or a related field (required)
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and cultural humility (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks (required)
