Project Overview

The Localization Academy is seeking a highly skilled Localization Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of our French market expansion. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will be responsible for localizing our target keywords, editing blog content, and building links with French publishers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Keyword Localization: Localize target keywords for our French SEO strategy, adapting each opportunity and content brief for the French market.
  2. Content Editing: Edit blog content to ensure it meets our standards for grammar, style, voice, and tone, while coordinating with our SEO writer and passing along feedback for future implementation and improvement.
  3. Link Building: Identify and connect with French publishers in the retail, ecommerce, and small business communities who are in a position to link to our marketplace.

Deliverables

  1. Exactly 6 keyword briefs per month, each targeting 1+ related keywords and instructing the writer on how to align the blog post with search intent.
  2. 30+ emails sent to unique domains each month that have published content relevant to our industry, and whose content we believe will increase our website's authority and backlink profile.
  3. 6 edited and publish-ready articles per month (articles will be sent to you from the writer).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing, SEO, or a similar growth-focused role.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Excellent writing/editorial skills.
  • A corporate entity and/or business license supporting their brand/services.
  • Ability to commit to a monthly set of deliverables that will likely require 17-18 hours/week.
  • Their own working computer & internet access.

Working Arrangements

This is a contract opportunity, and we are looking for a contractor who can commit to a minimum of 5 months. The hourly rate is €45-50 EUR/hour depending on experience, and contractors will be invoiced once per month with each invoice due and payable within thirty (30) days of our receipt.
