Los Angeles, California, United States MPLC Full time
Job Overview

MPLC stands as the premier authority in non-theatrical licensing, dedicated to empowering businesses to leverage exceptional film and television content while safeguarding the creative community and their intellectual rights. Our mission is straightforward: to facilitate the use of cinematic works in various commercial settings, from fitness centers enhancing their ambiance to workplaces enriching employee experiences.

We believe that creators deserve fair compensation for their contributions. Therefore, we offer an accessible licensing solution for businesses, ensuring that royalties are appropriately distributed to our rights holders, ranging from major film studios to local production houses. Our licensing framework allows clients to operate within legal boundaries, fostering a culture of respect for copyright.

As we embark on an exciting growth trajectory, we are actively investing in our workforce, enhancing our technological capabilities, and setting ambitious goals. To support this vision, we are seeking a Sales Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing the performance of our sales division. Collaborating closely with the sales team and various departments, you will enhance operational efficiency, boost productivity, and contribute to revenue expansion. This position requires a blend of strategic insight, analytical prowess, and a comprehensive understanding of the sales landscape.

Data Analytics and Reporting:
  • Enhance analytical capabilities to extract valuable insights from sales metrics.
  • Invest in advanced reporting tools and dashboards for real-time tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to support informed decision-making.
  • Utilize data to pinpoint customer demographics and market trends that can inform sales strategies.
Process Improvement:
  • Evaluate existing sales workflows to identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Design and implement strategies to streamline operations and elevate sales productivity.
  • Track KPIs and provide data-driven recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Technology Management:
  • Oversee the effective use of Salesforce, Gong, and other sales tools.
  • Identify and integrate new technologies to refine sales operations.
  • Ensure the sales team is proficient in utilizing all relevant systems.
Sales Strategy Formulation:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to devise and execute sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Assist in crafting sales forecasts, budgets, and performance targets.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in a high-volume, high-value sales environment.
  • A background in sales operations, emphasizing strategy formulation and process enhancement.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • A passion for collaborating with sales teams to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Gong.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

While MPLC is already a fantastic workplace, we acknowledge that our dynamic environment may not suit everyone. Consider the following:

  • We are a rapidly growing organization that continually seeks to refine our operations and cultivate a distinctive culture, which involves experimentation and ongoing adjustments.
  • You will report to our Head of Sales Operations, collaborating across various time zones, necessitating flexibility.
  • You should be comfortable navigating both detailed tasks and broader strategic planning.
  • Working with incomplete information and addressing process gaps will be part of your role.
  • Our organization has a rich history, and those who excel here typically possess low ego, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to build relationships swiftly.
Location and Compensation
  • This position requires in-office presence for two days a week, with flexibility for remote work.
  • Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $85,000.
  • We provide private medical and life insurance.
  • Additional perks and benefits are regularly reviewed to enhance employee satisfaction.
