Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at InterMed, P.A. as an Outpatient Clinical Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with occupational therapy needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, therapy sessions, and caregiver education to promote patient progress and independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals through verbal, written, and electronic means.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with evidence-based practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active occupational therapy license in Maine.
  • At least one year of clinical experience in outpatient settings.
  • Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off, is also offered.
