Dynamic Sales Executive for Local Marketing

Cumulus Media is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Local Marketing Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, growing existing client relationships, and delivering effective sales solutions to meet client objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Client Needs Identification: Gain a deep understanding of client business needs, goals, and objectives to develop customized advertising solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations to negotiate and close business.
- Digital Sales: Sell Cumulus' station digital assets, including streaming, website, and social advertising, as well as digital audience extension products.
- Prospecting: Aggressively seek new clientele through networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and other means to build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects.
- Order Preparation: Follow station and corporate procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, and submitting regular reports.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Cumulus in the marketplace.
- Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms, and CRM tools.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, including presentation and negotiation.
- Business Development: Experience developing new business relationships in an outside sales role.
- Sales Metrics: Comprehension of sales metrics to fill a sales funnel and maintain a robust pipeline of residual business.
- Attitude: Positive attitude with a willingness to get beyond comfort zone to grow professionally.
- Energy: High energy and passion for the job.
- Creativity: Flexible and creative.
- Digital Savvy: Digitally savvy.
- Media Sales Background: Media sales background preferred or required.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred or required.
