Senior Linux/Unix Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux/Unix System Administrator to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and security of our Linux/Unix systems.
Key Responsibilities- System Administration: Provide day-to-day administration of Linux/Unix systems, including user management, permissions, and access control.
- Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect our systems and data from unauthorized access, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and vulnerability scanning.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain our Linux/Unix infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.
- Automation: Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as BASH and Ansible.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in Linux/Unix system administration, with a focus on security and infrastructure management.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ certification or other industry-recognized certifications relevant to Linux/Unix system administration.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $179,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) matching.
