GENERAL SUMMARY:

Broadview will provide a comprehensive range of services, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

JOB SUMMARY:

The mixologist is responsible for providing exceptional bar service in the community's cocktail lounge.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently takes orders and serves drinks and requested items with grace and courtesy, addressing any inquiries regarding drink selections.

2. Clears all tableware from tables and bars post-service.

3. Cleans and organizes all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays.

4. Manages stock levels, ensuring supplies are replenished and rotated as needed.

5. Prepares garnishes and snack trays for bar service.

6. Maintains accurate documentation for resident and guest charges.

7. Assists the supervisor with inventory management.

8. Adheres to opening and closing procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Contributes to a high standard of customer service for residents and their guests.

2. Ensures a safe and sanitary work environment.

3. Upholds personal hygiene standards and complies with the department's dress code.

4. Completes all assigned cleaning tasks diligently.

5. Communicates supply and equipment needs to the supervisor.

6. Participates in training and educational sessions as required.

7. Performs specific duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Proven experience in crafting standard and specialty cocktails.

2. Basic understanding of wine and wine service.

3. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.

4. Previous bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining is preferred.

5. Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with residents, guests, families, supervisors, and peers, requiring courtesy and tact.

6. Must be at least 21 years of age.

COMPENSATION:

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This role requires light to moderate physical effort for the majority of the workday. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently stoop, bend, and stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Visual, auditory, and verbal communication abilities are essential.
