POSITION SUMMARY:

  • We are looking for a Part-Time Fitness Instructor to enhance a new long-life community focused on fitness, strength, and wellness.
  • Accountable for creating fitness programs, managing facilities, and encouraging resident engagement in exercise activities.
  • Responsible for leading classes, performing fitness evaluations, and promoting community health initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and execute exercise programs for individuals and groups.
  • Maintain resident records and fitness program evaluations.
  • Supervise fitness facility operations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Deliver health education and programming tailored for residents.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in exercise science or a licensed physical therapist.
  • Current ACSM Certification or equivalent health/fitness-related credentials.
  • Experience in senior fitness, strength training, and various fitness methodologies.
  • CPR/AED certification is mandatory.

Compensation ranges from $23 to $26 per hour.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Requires frequent standing, bending, and lifting activities.
  • Good visual and auditory acuity is essential.
  • Potential exposure to communicable diseases and chemicals.
