Broadview at Purchase College is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper II to join our team. As a Housekeeper II, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community spaces, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and service interior common spaces, bathrooms, lobbies, entrances, locker rooms, fitness room, salons, movement room, and other areas as assigned.
- High and low dusting, damp wiping horizontal and vertical surfaces, and other related duties as assigned.
- Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals, partitions, mirrors, metal, brass, aluminum, stainless steel metals, glass windows, and panels in doors.
- Dry mop, vacuum floors in all corridors, entrances, and office areas.
- Arrange furniture in a neat and orderly fashion.
- 1 year of proven experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting, preferably in an environmental service.
- Ability to read and write.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- The ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
- Motivational, energetic, and passionate about serving others.
- Patient and sensitive to others' needs, with the ability to work with community groups.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Good inter-department communication and teamwork skills.
- Lifts and carries up to 50 lbs. with assistance occasionally.
