Executive Chef Assistant

Job OverviewAs a key member of the Lotus of Siam team, the Line Cook will be responsible for managing the quality of food items, cooking and plating dishes according to recipe specifications, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of prior line cook experience, with a strong background in stir fry preparation and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage food quality and presentation
  • Cook and plate dishes according to recipe specifications
  • Weigh and measure ingredients accurately
  • Restock kitchen supplies as needed
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Hold a valid Food Handler Safety Card in Nevada
  • Store and handle food products correctly
  • Assist with cleaning projects and other kitchen duties as assigned


Requirements
  • At least one year of prior line cook experience
  • Strong background in stir fry preparation
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Familiarity with Asian cuisine and ingredients preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
