Job Overview

Naxos Taverna and Oyster Bar at Red Rock is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Lead and manage a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless execution of service.
  • Collaborate with our General Manager and Sous Chefs to drive menu innovation and consistency across all locations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses, achieving optimal efficiency and profitability.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our culinary team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and exceptional quality.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fine dining or upscale casual environment.
  • Proven track record of menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles, with experience in implementing and maintaining HACCP protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and quality control.
