Job Summary

At Mother Wolf Las Vegas, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Pastry Chef and/or Chef de Cuisine in the management, execution, and presentation of all Mother Wolf desserts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the completion of daily production lists.
  • Maintain the quality and consistency of all pastry dishes.
  • Inspect and ensure the proper functioning of pastry kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure all stored products are labeled and stored according to company standards and FIFO.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned stations, adhering to Health Department standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pastry trends and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • One year of experience in a similar position.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
  • Professional verbal and written communication with guests, employees, vendors, and ownership.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Must have a current SNHD Food Handler card.
