As a key leader within the Weiss-Aug Group, you will be pivotal in fostering and enhancing growth while diversifying our clientele in the Surgical Business Unit.

Your role will involve cultivating robust business relationships with strategic accounts that align with our sales objectives, ensuring the achievement of annual sales targets, and nurturing excellent rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify and create new business prospects with targeted clients.
2. Establish and maintain close working relationships with essential engineering and procurement personnel to ensure a consistent influx of new opportunities.
3. Broaden the contact network at existing key accounts and develop long-term partnerships built on trust.
4. Acquire in-depth knowledge of customer product specifications to identify needs and propose expanded product offerings.
5. Deliver capability presentations at targeted accounts, articulating our value proposition to generate new business opportunities.
6. Foster positive relationships with company team members across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and customer service to enhance customer service.
7. Gain comprehensive insights into competitors, target markets, and emerging trends. Continuously enhance your understanding of our industry through trade show participation, industry publications, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
8. Prepare weekly travel plans, sales reports, and maintain the company CRM system.
9. Expect extensive travel (over 50%) as part of your role.

Minimum Qualifications:
• A college degree or equivalent; an engineering degree is advantageous.
• At least 10 years of field sales experience in manufacturing sectors servicing the medical device industry.
• Proficient professional selling skills, technical acumen, and computer literacy are essential.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Familiarity with medical and FDA certification processes for medical instruments and devices is required.
• Some understanding of molding and stamping, industrial manufacturing, marketing, and knowledge of standard operating procedures is necessary.
• A network of purchasing and engineering contacts within the medical device sector is preferred.
