Company Overview
AlphaGraphics is a locally operated printing and marketing communications firm seeking a dedicated general manager to oversee our business center, which encompasses customer service, sales, design, and production. We are looking for a process-oriented leader who fosters loyalty, commitment, trust, and motivation among both team members and clients.

Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years leading a sales team in a retail or service setting
  • Experience in a customer-focused, solutions-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks is essential
  • Strong communication skills to engage with customers and understand their needs
  • High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • Physical ability to lift/move materials weighing between 10-50 pounds, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience utilizing financial metrics to monitor sales progress and enhance profitability
  • Ability to network and engage with the local community

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the vision and business strategy of the Franchisee on a daily basis
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the business
  • Maintain financial records using Quickbooks; bookkeeping experience is required
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and workflow processes along with established policies and goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring adequate inventory of materials
  • Understand the capabilities of print and bindery equipment to efficiently schedule production
  • Manage relationships with trade printers and binderies as necessary
  • Support both outside and inside sales teams, ensuring timely delivery of products and services
  • Maintain accurate financial records for the business
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the brand
  • Coordinate activities across departments to enhance operational efficiency
  • Create a motivating environment that encourages team members to boost sales while prioritizing quality and customer service
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff
Requirements:
  • Highly structured and process-oriented
  • Experience with digital printers, wide format, and bindery equipment is advantageous
  • Familiarity with print software such as PrintSmith from EFI is a plus
  • Ability to implement policies and procedures effectively
  • Preferred college degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks
  • Above-average computer skills, including experience with Macintosh and/or PC systems
  • Prior experience managing a print store or similar environment is preferred
  • Experience with direct mail and variable data projects is a plus
  • Strong internal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • 5-10 years of management experience in the print industry is preferred
