About the Role

Haynes and Boone is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our diversity and inclusion team, you will play a critical role in coordinating and implementing programs to advance diversity and inclusion in all offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for diversity and inclusion programs, including scheduling, coordinating, and attending committee meetings and Inclusion Network meetings.
  • Develop and coordinate presentations and materials to promote the firm's diversity and inclusion goals and objectives.
  • Manage responses and gather data for diversity inquiries in RFPs and client diversity surveys.
  • Coordinate event details for diversity functions, such as firm receptions, lunches, and meetings.
  • Generate reports of diversity information as requested by clients and other organizations.
  • Travel to firm offices to support DEI meetings and functions.
Requirements
  • Law firm or professional services experience preferred.
  • Human Resources experience is valuable, but not required.
  • Must have one or more years of progressive related experience.
  • DEI experience is not required, but an interest in learning DEI strategy is preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Suite to produce quality written communications.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of the firm's internal and personnel affairs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally and educationally diverse environment.
  • Strong client-service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must pay attention to details and have the ability to follow-up and follow-through.
  • Approachable and collaborative; team oriented.
  • Able to organize and maintain a significant number of diverse, concurrent projects.
  • Able to research and analyze information.
  • Demonstrated judgment, tact, candor, and resourcefulness.
  • Able to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of firm personnel in a team environment and across multiple offices.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Education

BBA in Human Resources or a related field preferred.

Working Conditions

This is a hybrid working environment with a expectation of 3 days in the office and 2 days work remotely.
