KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Procurement Policies: Formulate and refine procurement strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with stakeholders, executive leadership, and department heads to ascertain business requirements and establish project scopes.
  • Vendor Selection Management: Conduct market research and develop vendor profiles to facilitate supplier selection. Oversee the creation and management of RFPs through a digital management system, ensuring thorough evaluation and selection of proposals.
  • Vendor Relationship Building: Implement best practices in vendor management throughout negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and renewal processes. Regularly assess vendor performance and conduct risk evaluations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is based in a standard office environment. The role typically involves the use of office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role may be sedentary, but some filing tasks are required. While performing the duties, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands for various tasks, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. The employee must also be able to stand and walk, with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
