Job Summary:
The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant III to join its team. As a key member of the Access and Eligibility (AES) department, this role will provide critical support to the Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) team.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing complex administrative support, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. This will include data entry, report preparation, and filing. Additionally, the candidate will assist with volunteer recruitment, training, and coordination of events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of experience in office administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry skills are essential. The candidate will also need to be able to pass a fingerprint criminal background check and a National Sex Offender Registry check.
