As a key member of our academic support staff, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Plumbing Trainer/Educator to join our team in New London, CT.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for teaching and leadership to oversee and participate in teaching activities, ensuring effective learning. You will work closely with faculty members to deliver high-quality classroom instruction and program administration, tailoring course materials to meet the needs of individual students.

Responsibilities
  • Instructional Delivery: Oversee and participate in teaching activities to ensure effective learning.
  • Student Service: Provide support and guidance to students, ensuring their academic and professional success.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Use your plumbing expertise to enhance course content and instructional methods.
  • Faculty Management, Mentoring, and Training: Lead, mentor, and train faculty members to maintain high teaching standards.
  • Program Administration: Manage program operations, ensuring alignment with educational goals and standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of recent work experience as a licensed Plumber (excluding apprenticeship).
  • Connecticut - current P1 or P2 license.
  • Preferred: 3 years of classroom teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
  • Preferred: 3 years of successful leadership and management experience.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,500 annually, a sign-on bonus of $2,000, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, and tuition reimbursement for employees.
