Responsibilities:

* Train, lead, and motivate service and production staff to ensure exceptional customer service and quality food
* Maintain company visual and merchandising standards in the restaurant area
* Understand and implement peak demand scheduling, floor coverage, and supervision to ensure seamless operations
* Assess food quality and presentation, and ensure quality control
* Manage kitchen organization and inventory, and place food and supply orders using established procedures

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* 1-2 years direct experience in a restaurant or food service environment
* Health department license or certification, Food Handlers, and/or alcohol certification as required by state or local requirement
* Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
* Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
* Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Physical Requirements:

* Prolonged periods of standing/walking around the store or department
* May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping
* Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions
* Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
