Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Adhere to certification requirements relevant to the position, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers certifications.
  • Familiarize oneself with the restaurant's layout and the responsibilities associated with each role.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu offerings and daily specials.
  • Provide guests with all food and beverage needs in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as necessary.
  • Be proficient in operating the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system.
  • Handle cashier duties, including closing checks and completing end-of-shift paperwork.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures and side work tasks according to assigned station rotations.
  • Ensure tables and service stations are well-stocked, tidy, and clean.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in a hospitality setting.
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with state regulations).
  • Food Handlers certification (must comply with state regulations).
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly.
  • Capability to evaluate and choose among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
