HCP Marketing Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HCP Marketing Manager to join our team at Healthcasts Media. As a key member of our HCP Community marketing team, you will play a crucial role in growing our Healthcasts HCP Community by highlighting its value proposition and attracting healthcare professionals to become members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing tactics across multiple channels to tell the Healthcasts story and attract healthcare professionals to our community.
  • Research, plan, write, create, execute, and measure HCP recruitment marketing campaigns that tell an authentic, compelling story and clearly differentiate our community.
  • Proactively drive marketing recruitment campaigns, including planning, writing, design/programming, executing, reporting results, and recommending optimization/improvements.
  • Investigate where we're missing members, create target lists, and track conversions/ROI.
  • Use existing tools and resources, and/or develop new ones, to create or refresh content marketing pages, forms, and other campaign components, enabling our ability to proactively optimize in real time.
  • Accurately track campaign performance and make educated recommendations on future efforts and budget; manage to recruitment goals and program delivery goals as assigned.
  • Maintain and source related vendors, working within a budget.
  • Maintain documentation and SOPs for recruitment campaigning.
  • Demonstrate successful community building/member acquisition campaigns.
  • Effectively communicate best practices with the HCP Community team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field plus 3 years' experience in marketing/related field OR 5 years' experience in marketing or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to write marketing copy that converts (samples required).
  • First-hand experience developing strategic recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Proven ability to prospect, target, and convert new members to sign up for a membership site (not e-commerce).
  • Prior experience working with physician-focused content and/or relationships with medical associations/hospital systems A MAJOR PLUS.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Can develop engaging content and web assets to attract and optimize applicant flow.
  • Has experience within the healthcare, medical, HCP, or pharma industries.
  • Can use tools like Canva, Hubspot, Zapier,, or similar, to create and connect campaign components.
  • Can use spreadsheets, Google Analytics, data visualization software, and other tools to create, maintain, and interpret campaign results.
  • Can nimbly assess performance, optimize campaigns, and achieve recruitment goals.
  • Can take direction and pivot as business needs shift.
  • Is a self-starter, entrepreneurial-minded individual who also works well within a small team of high achievers.
  • Can build association/institutional partnerships or leverage KOLs and/or referrals as a component of member acquisition would be a strong plus.
