Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Stage Right Capital. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing marketing campaigns for our live music venue, The Senate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement show marketing plans, including campaign execution, communication with key stakeholders, and budget management.
  • Run marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns to ensure successful events.
  • Maintain a content calendar to promote concerts across social media channels.
  • Manage email and SMS campaigns, including planning, content creation, audience segmentation, and distribution.
  • Assist with traditional media buying, including negotiation, scheduling, and auditing.
  • Develop and coordinate organic promotions, giveaways, and contests with local media partners and businesses.
  • Assist with graphic design and creative needs to support promotional efforts.
  • Manage centralized concert database, including inputting show information, expenses, and other details.
  • Monitor ticket sales, analytics, and other touchpoints to adjust marketing strategies in real-time.
  • Develop marketing initiatives to enhance fan experiences.
  • Manage venue street team personnel and engagement strategy.

Venue Marketing:

  • Create content calendar and implement consistent messaging across social media accounts.
  • Create and manage campaigns specific to the venue, including private events rentals and non-show programming.
  • Pitch stories and develop relationships with industry-related reporters and bloggers.
  • Oversight of website content continuity.
  • Promote non-show related opportunities, such as venue merchandise and private events.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses and community groups as the de facto marketing contact for the venue.
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
  • Assist with press conferences and photo opportunities, as needed.
  • Budget control, including oversight of best practices for spend allocations and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in live events or entertainment marketing, directly overseeing campaign execution.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other analytics tools.
  • Facebook Blueprint or other digital ad certifications a plus.
  • Knowledge of major social media platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ability to learn required business systems.
  • Knowledge of graphic design systems, including Adobe and Canva.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with ability to work select nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good decision-making skills, solid judgment, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Location:

Columbia, SC - Candidates must be located within a reasonable radius (approximately 1.5 hours or less) of the venue to be available for events, meetings, and trainings.
