Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Insurance Business Developer to join our team at USG Insurance Services, Inc. This role involves collaborating with internal producers and retail insurance agents to develop and submit business to target markets, specifically for Workers Compensation.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in property and casualty insurance, including coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures. A P&C license or E&S licenses are preferred but not required.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

  • Work with internal USG producers and retail insurance agents to develop and submit business to target markets for placement.
  • Learn and build relationships with our in-house rating and brokerage markets for Workers Compensation.
  • Assess new business submissions and negotiate terms to secure the best coverage at competitive prices.
  • Follow submissions through the process to ensure quotes are provided in a timely manner and negotiate with all parties involved to reach an acceptable price.
Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Developing and submitting business to target markets for placement.
  2. Leveraging industry relationships to identify new business opportunities.
  3. Negotiating terms and conditions with clients to secure the best coverage at competitive prices.
  4. Coordinating administrative workflows with support teams to establish accurate and prompt response to service issues.
