We are seeking a Marketing and Underwriting Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As a hybrid role, you will spend some time working in our office and some time traveling to meet with clients and partners. In this role, you will analyze financial and risk data to identify hazards and exposures, develop and grow a profitable book of excess casualty and umbrella business, and ensure that effective business relationships with internal and external customers/coworkers are developed and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and risk data of proposed insureds.
- Identify growth opportunities with key distribution partners.
- Determine appropriate recommendations subject to management and underwriting guidelines.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external customers/coworkers.
- Ensure delivery, follow-up, and servicing requirements of all quotes on new and renewal accounts.
The estimated annual salary for this position is around $80,000-$120,000, depending on qualifications and performance.
