Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

The Client Intake Coordinator is responsible for engaging with clients and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary support and information throughout the intake process. This includes:

  • Confirming the client's status within the Regional Center system.
  • Offering referrals to community resources as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with required timelines and organizational policies.

Data Management:

Maintain a detailed database of client interactions and inquiries, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with established guidelines. Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing applications for service appropriateness.
  • Compiling monthly statistics and reports.
  • Providing administrative support to the team as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant human services field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in client interaction and evaluation.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Early Childhood Development and case management is advantageous.
  • Multilingual capabilities, particularly in Spanish or Cantonese, are highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to conduct interviews effectively while documenting detailed notes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach.
