What You Will Be Doing
This is an expert-level role overseeing the business solutions function across various product lines within a division. You will possess specialized skills, experience, and proficiency.

With extensive experience and profound knowledge of market practices, regulations, and processes, you will utilize professional concepts alongside company and client objectives to creatively resolve complex issues.

You will exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results. This role involves creating formal networks with key internal and external contacts and coordinating across work groups and functional areas. You will engage with senior-level client contacts and team members, being recognized as an authority within your industry focus.

You must have directed solution strategies with a focus on business architecture, including leadership responsibilities for consulting, business systems analysis leads, and/or other architects for multiple large-scale projects. You should be capable of conducting acquisition due diligence and work independently, seeking guidance only in the most complex situations.

What You Bring
  • Ability to interpret client and market needs, assess comprehensive business requirements and architecture, and identify solutions for non-standard tasks.
  • Collaboration with senior-level clients, product management, and technical architects to develop, enhance, and implement business architecture for complex solutions that meet specific client needs and market opportunities.
  • Participation in management reviews, including presenting and interpreting business requirements and results of analyses, summarizing conclusions, and recommending actions.
  • Interface with all areas of the client and internal enterprises affected by projects, ensuring client expectations and market requirements are fulfilled.
  • Definition, construction, support, and training for enterprise business systems.
  • Documentation of functional product solutions for key initiatives leveraging defined functional component model libraries and product line roadmaps.
  • Maintenance of a catalogue of reusable functional application components across applications and product lines.
  • Review of functional and business process designs to identify risks and missing requirements.
  • Negotiation and influence over solutions architects and external clients to achieve business solutions that meet expectations.
  • Documentation and communication of opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies and application asset reuse.
  • Communication of business architecture to both technical and business audiences.
  • Identification and incorporation of business process improvements for enhanced efficiency and client experience.
  • Willingness to travel 30% to 50% as necessary.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Experience working directly or indirectly with core applications or other ancillary systems.
  • Integration or API experience.
  • Experience in conversion, merger, or acquisition.
  • Prior C-Level management experience.
  • Experience in banking operations or information technology.
  • Product Management experience or PMP certification.
