About the Role

MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to lead the development, implementation, and innovation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to MSA's BIM Council, a formal committee of BIM discipline subject matter experts.
  • Manage software products, including configuration, customization, and integration of BIM ancillary software with Autodesk Construction Cloud, 3D visualization tools, clash detection, and point cloud solutions.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on BIM software and technologies, including Autodesk add-ins, plug-ins, and generative AI.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, documentation, and distribution of updates/revisions to the standards.
  • Responsible for creation, maintenance, and updating Organizational Template Files, including shared parameters to ensure standards.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering Technology and/or at least 10 years' experience in an engineering architecture firm or related field.
  • Expert with industry-standard BIM software packages, specifically Autodesk software preferred.
  • Automation skills with a minimum knowledge of Dynamo and subsequent programming language.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of design process and principles.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of IT systems.
  • Strong written and personal communication skills with experience in technical document writing.
