It's about making an impact, where good design is good business and where your efforts shape the future of how humanity interacts with technology.

What you'll be doing

  • You'll turn ambiguous problems into clear, user-focused, and scalable products, guiding projects from concept through to execution.

  • Collaborate with teams across Siena to ensure designs are aligned with business goals, technically feasible, and deliver a seamless user experience.

  • Apply your expertise to elevate the usability, accessibility, and delight of our products. You'll scrutinize every detail, from micro-interactions to overall user flows, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.

  • You'll set the standard for visual excellence in our products, ensuring that every element—from typography and color schemes to iconography and layout—meets the highest aesthetic standards.

  • Provide creative direction on key projects, guiding the visual and interactive aspects of product design. You'll collaborate with product teams to envision and implement designs that push the boundaries and delight our users.

  • Facilitate documentation and seamless collaboration and communication with the engineering team on iterating design ideas and materialising the design roadmap.

  • Develop and refine Siena's design language, ensuring it communicates our brand's values and personality consistently across all product touchpoints. Your work will contribute to a distinctive and recognizable visual identity that sets us apart in the market.

    Join the team if you
  • You bring 6+ years of product design experience in the technology space.

  • You excel in creating quick, iterative prototypes to explore design solutions, demonstrating your comfort with the "messy middle" of the design process.

  • You understand the business implications of design decisions and have examples of how your work has positively impacted key business metrics.

  • You're proactive in conducting user research, employing creative methods to uncover deep insights that drive your design decisions.

  • You've played a key role in contributing to, advocating for, and evolving a design system, ensuring design consistency and efficiency as the company scales.

  • You have a history of effectively selling your design ideas and negotiating decisions with stakeholders.

  • You're great at navigating ambiguity, making informed decisions with incomplete information, and adapting your designs to rapidly changing business needs and feedback.

  • Thrive under minimal supervision in fast-paced environments, not being afraid to wear multiple hats when needed.

You probably shouldn't apply if
  • You prefer more structured, slow-paced environments.

  • You're uncomfortable with rapid iteration and frequent pivoting in design directions.

  • You're not open to giving or receiving constructive feedback from peers and other teams.

  • You're not keen on working directly with the founders and the senior leadership team.
