Role Summary:
As an Engineering Team Leader, you will directly manage a team dedicated to our transformative Banking solutions.

Your role will involve overseeing development teams, utilizing advanced technologies to create groundbreaking fintech products that redefine financial transactions, banking, and investment practices.

This includes developing essential software applications, understanding client needs, collaborating with engineering teams, and providing training on our applications.


Team Dynamics:

This position is part of our Banking Solutions development group, focused on crafting the next generation of Community Banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
The Engineering Team Leader will support development teams by:
  • Ensuring alignment of development activities with business goals.
  • Promoting high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Encouraging a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Working closely with the Value Stream Tech Lead, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective issue management.

This role requires building and maintaining productive relationships across technical and business functions within Jobs for Humanity and with client/partner organizations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing software applications for market or internal use.
  • Managing the complete software development lifecycle, including testing and implementation.
  • Conducting product design, bug verification, and beta support, which may involve research and analysis.
  • Resolving critical issues and contributing to the development of the business unit.
  • Overseeing the work of managers/supervisors, including hiring, performance evaluations, and compensation reviews.
  • Identifying and allocating technical resources for client projects.
  • Forecasting resource needs based on portfolio analysis and projected client expenditures.
  • Maximizing utilization and profitability of assigned resources.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Providing input on product direction to product managers.
  • Coordinating with compliance consultants to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Ensuring the effective application of technology.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

  • Skill in delegating tasks to qualified team members.
  • Ability to operate independently and make sound decisions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
