The Senior IT Business Solutions Analyst is responsible for defining, configuring, testing, training, and supporting IT solutions that align with business needs. This role involves collaboration with both internal experts and external IT vendors, leading or co-leading technology projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or co-lead complex digital and IT project tasks, ensuring business objectives are met within deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough business and system analysis, interpreting data to identify technological gaps and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Assess existing technologies to adapt to evolving business requirements.
  • Establish and communicate best practices for the effective use of digital solutions.
  • Support onboarding and training initiatives for business team members regarding IT needs.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of application and technology utilization within the organization.
  • Assist in the rollout of new technologies/services, providing updates to stakeholders on project status and completion.
  • Serve as the primary contact for communications and project expectations with external IT vendors.
  • Deliver multiple solutions while balancing competing priorities and resources.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and cross-training among team members.
  • Encourage team members to share feedback and ideas for quality improvements.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Available for after-hours and weekend technical support as required.

This position may involve:

  • Business Systems – MES, ERP (SAP or similar)
  • Engineering Systems – PLM/PDM, CAD, FEA (ENOVIA, CATIA, ANSYS)
  • Infrastructure Support & Development
  • Application Support & Development
  • Database Support & Development
  • PC Support

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of relevant IT experience.
  • Strong background in business analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and proven experience.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to develop use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Experience in PC support and server administration with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and adaptability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality Systems, ideally within the Aerospace/Defense sector.
  • Industry-recognized IT certifications.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with MS Power BI, Data Flows, Data Marts, and MS Power Automate.
  • Knowledge of Lean tools and processes.
