Under the direct guidance of the Manager of Patient Financial and Patient Management Systems, the Lead Software Analyst for Imaging Solutions is tasked with:
- Identifying and articulating user requirements and aligning those needs with Health System protocols.
- Managing significant enterprise-level initiatives that necessitate the coordination of various resources.
- Delivering analytical results to multiple stakeholders within the organization, including executive leadership and state agencies.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Tracking the progress of user requests to ensure completion.
- Engaging with various departments to ascertain user needs.
- Recommending design improvements for document imaging and automation.
- Managing multiple projects across various platforms (PC, mainframe, Unix, etc.).
- Assisting management with departmental planning, staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
- Evaluating the financial implications of technical options and making informed recommendations.
- Completing document imaging and automation tasks under the guidance of the Senior Project Leader.
- Collaborating with vendors to resolve technical challenges.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
- Providing after-hours support as needed.
- Maintaining required certifications and completing mandatory training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of starting the position.
Experience:
- Five to seven years of experience in the Information Systems field.
- Expertise in database concepts (relational, hierarchical) such as Sybase, Oracle, and Informix.
- Proficiency in Document Imaging, TCP/IP, HL-7 Standards, AIX, and SQL Tools.
- Experience with project management software and Unix (AIX) operating systems.
- Familiarity with PC tools (word processors, spreadsheets, databases).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Ability to travel within the healthcare system.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and exchange accurate information.
Protective Equipment:
Adhere to standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Compensation:
The anticipated pay range for this position is between $33.46 and $51.03 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as work history, experience, skill set, and education. This does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement options.
