Position Summary

Our client operates within the food distribution sector, offering a comprehensive range of fresh produce and various food-related products. They supply numerous retail outlets, dining establishments, and food service organizations throughout the United States. In light of their growth objectives, they are looking to enhance their service offerings to meet increasing customer demand and identify new opportunities for improved client service. They are in search of a Sales Support/Administrative professional to facilitate the sales of products and services to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative tasks including managing phone inquiries and email correspondence while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain and update client records in the database, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Provide follow-up communication to existing and potential clients to address their requirements.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including upselling to current accounts.
  • Recognize areas for enhancing the overall client experience.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales.
  • At least 1 year of administrative experience.
  • 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service orientation, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in data entry tasks.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
