Position Overview

The Arc Oneida-Lewis is looking for a dedicated Residential Support Specialist to enhance our College Works Department. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being and safety of residents in our supported living environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to individuals in daily living activities, fostering independence.
  • Assist with household management, including laundry and cleaning duties.
  • Support meal planning and preparation, ensuring adherence to dietary requirements while promoting nutritional health.
  • Facilitate medical and dental appointments, maintaining health records and liaising with healthcare professionals.
  • Assist residents with financial management, including budgeting and shopping.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. with at least one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Experience as a college Resident Assistant is advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid NYS Driver's License.
