About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ambulatory Surgical Center Registered Nurse to join our team at Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Professional Nursing Care: Conduct thorough nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population.
  • Collaborate with Interprofessional Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Lead and Participate in Shared Governance: Participate in shared governance initiatives, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and assume leadership roles to drive quality and safety improvements.
  • Implement Staff Education and Development: Design and deliver educational programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills, and provide mentorship and coaching to support professional growth and development.
  • Contribute to Quality and Safety Initiatives: Identify areas for improvement, develop and implement evidence-based solutions, and participate in quality and safety initiatives to drive excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in a pre-op/PACU, ICU, or ED environment.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current RN licensure in Texas or Compact State, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
