Position Overview: The Vice President of Real Estate will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the company’s real estate operations, including the management of the industrial property portfolio, site selection, construction, and facilities oversight. Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing all management functions related to the real estate portfolio, including acquisitions, leasing, and facilities management.
  • Focusing on optimizing the portfolio, ensuring high-quality deals, and maintaining process consistency.
  • Building and nurturing strategic relationships with business leaders, construction professionals, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with company executives to manage site selection, construction, and property management activities.
  • Overseeing budgets, financial reporting, and operational assessments.
  • Ensuring compliance with established standards, laws, and company policies across all facilities.
  • Maintaining relationships with landlords, property managers, and key vendors.
  • Acting as a primary liaison for business leaders to align real estate solutions with organizational goals.
  • Developing and refining standards and procedures in response to evolving business needs.
  • Setting strategic priorities and performance metrics to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate real estate within a multi-site, high-growth environment.
  • An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Current expertise in real estate portfolio management, construction oversight, and facilities management.
  • Experience with real estate technology solutions implementation and management.
  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of team development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operating and capital budgets effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with senior leadership.
  • Strong process engineering capabilities to manage operations and projects efficiently.
  • Excellent judgment and integrity.
  • Outstanding leadership skills, capable of motivating diverse teams.
