Position Overview: The Vice President of Real Estate will manage all facets of the organization’s real estate operations, including the oversight of the industrial property portfolio, site selection, construction management, and facilities oversight. Key responsibilities include:
- Directing all activities related to the real estate portfolio, including acquisitions, leasing, and facilities management.
- Focusing on optimizing the portfolio, ensuring high-quality deals, and maintaining process consistency.
- Building and nurturing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, legal advisors, and construction professionals.
- Collaborating with company executives to oversee site selection, construction, and facility management activities.
- Managing budgets, financial reporting, and operational analysis to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Ensuring compliance with established standards, laws, and policies across all facilities.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with landlords, property managers, and other essential partners.
- Acting as a liaison for business leaders to align real estate solutions with business objectives.
- Developing and refining standards and procedures to adapt to evolving business needs.
- Setting strategic priorities and performance indicators to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a corporate real estate environment with a focus on multi-site operations.
- An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Current expertise in real estate portfolio management, construction oversight, and facilities management.
- Experience in implementing and managing real estate technology solutions.
- A strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
